This benefit is available to all CSHP members. If you are not a current member of CSHP, we offer special introductory membership rates that may save you money when you combine a CSHP membership with our liability/malpractice insurance plan. New active level members will save 50% of their membership fee in the first year and 25% of their membership fee in the second consecutive year of membership. Prior acts are covered.
Premiums are fully earned. There are no refunds for cancelled policies.
The policy term is July 1 to June 30. Applications received mid-term will be subject to the full premiums scheduled above, except for January 1 to March 31 where a discount of 25% will apply and April 1 to June 30 where a discount of 40% will apply.
Provincial taxes apply (Ontario 8%, Quebec 9%).
Coverage will be bound upon receipt of fully completed, signed and dated application and premium payment. Cheques are made payable to The Insurers Financial Group.

How long does it take to process the insurance application?

If you fit the program and your payment is received, coverage is immediate and effective the date the application was signed and dated. Please send payment by cheque, payable to The Insurers Financial Group.
When will I receive confirmation of coverage?

Your certificate will follow by email once your application has been processed.
