Other PublicationsDirect Patient Care Learning Modules: 'A Curriculum for Learning'CSHP is committed to supporting the provision of pharmaceutical care (PC) by all hospital pharmacists. As part of this commitment, the Task Force on Pharmaceutical Care Curriculum Development was created. This task force was mandated to create an educational program to facilitate self-directed learning of the skills and knowledge required to provide PC. In the development of such a program, 5 self-instructional modules were created. Through the use of the modules, pharmacists can enhance their skills and knowledge in the provision of care to their patients. The five module set is designed for independent learning with many opportunities for reflection and practice. Many skills are described throughout the modules. In order to become proficient in the skills, exercises are provided. The individual modules represent various aspects of providing effective direct patient care. Each module challenges you to think about your present method of practice and highlights new skills and knowledge to bring you one step closer to becoming a direct patient care provider. Upon completion of the entire program you will have acquired knowledge and skills to provide effective direct care to your patients. The individual modules are: Patient Assessment and Data Collection; Patient Assessment and Data Collection; Pharmacy Care Plan; Follow-up; and, Documentation. Prices below for five module set.
