Learning Objectives:
1.  Identify the types of data available in the Drug Distribution section of the Hospital Pharmacy in Canada Survey that can be used to support leadership decision making.  
2. Utilize a suggested approach to apply the available survey data to address questions from their practice. 
3. Review drug distribution trends and changes noted in the survey in that may help inform their practice. 
4. Review differences in regional and national drug distribution practices to gain insight into best practices. 

About the speaker:

Allan Mills completed his undergraduate degree from the University of British Columbia, and his residency at BC Children’s Shaughnessy Grace Hospitals in Vancouver. He obtained his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Toronto. He received his LEAN certification from the University of Michigan in 2009 and completed an MBA from The Australian Institute of Business in 2021. 
Allan is the Director of Pharmacy at Trillium Health Partners and a Fellow with the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists. He is an assistant professor (Status) at the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Toronto and has previously served as the President of the Ontario Branch of the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists, was a previous Chair of the Canadian Pharmacy Residency Board and is a current member of the Hospital Pharmacy in Canada Survey Board. He is a past winner of the Dan Dasko Pharmacy Administrator Award and the Arbour Award from The University of Toronto.  
He has been asked to lead and participate in a wide variety of local, provincial and national projects and advisory panels regarding pharmacy practice.
