To highlight the differences between the Canadian COPD guidelines and other guidelines such as GOLD.
To review the evidence behind the recommendations made in the guidelines.
To illustrate ways in which pharmacists can have an impact in their COPD patients.

About our presenter

Dr. Karen Dahri is a Clinical Pharmacy and Research Specialist in Internal Medicine at Vancouver General Hospital and an Associate Professor (Partner) with the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at UBC.  She has led the Respirology Module since the start of the Entry to Practice program at UBC and enjoys teaching students how they can help their asthma and COPD patients once out in practice.
