A message from Jordan Kelly, CSHP National Student Delegate

Hey CSHP student members, I’m excited to introduce you to Abby Krupski, your incoming National Student Delegate! Abby will be taking over from me as the student representative in October 2021. She’ll sit on the CSHP National Board, acting as a voice for pharmacy students across Canada. As part of her role, Abby will help shape CSHP’s programming and advocacy, keeping students’ needs at the forefront and connecting students with all the benefits CSHP has to offer.

Abby is a third-year PharmD student at the University of Toronto’s Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy. There she’s served as the Class Council Faculty Representative, and she’s also worked at the Hospital for Sick Children as part of a research team studying the importance of implementing pharmacogenomics in standard patient care. More recently, Abby has helped with COVID-19 vaccine rollout in her community. With her outstanding record in research, leadership, and community service, I’m confident she will be a stellar National Student Delegate.

Abby herself says: “I'm thrilled to be stepping into the role of Student Delegate this year. I'm really looking forward to working closely with fellow CSHP members to connect students with opportunities that foster their professional development and ongoing hospital pharmacy training.”

Thank you all for a great few years as your Student Delegate – It’s been an honour to represent you, and now it’s an honour to pass that baton to Abby! I wish you all the best in the school year ahead.

Jordan Kelly
