CSHP members and subscribers to the Canadian Journal of Hospital Pharmacy (CJHP) have made it clear that an easy-to-use, fully searchable, electronic version of the CJHP is important to them. The CJHP website uses Open Journal Systems (OJS) software to bring you each issue in a clear, readable electronic format.
The intuitive OJS platform offers full searching of the CJHP archives that are available to date (currently, the CJHP online has a complete archive of issues from 2000 to present).
The online version of the CJHP (www.cjhp.ca) was introduced in 2009.

Full text of all CJHP articles, with the exception of the Editorial, Point Counterpoint, and Executive Commentary sections, are open access beginning 6 months after publication (a pay per-view system for embargoed articles is in place). CSHP members will continue to have free, immediate access to the CJHP, one of the many benefits of CSHP membership.

Authors who wish to have their articles immediately open access can do so by paying a $100 fee to forgo the embargo period. Simply complete the CSHP Authorship Fee Form

In 2015, we moved to an online only version of the CJHP and introduced the institutional online subscription tier system option in 2017. More details with rates are available here .

Online Manuscript Submission
Manuscripts must be submitted online via the CJHP’s online manuscript submission and review system at www.cjhp.ca. Registration and login are required to submit manuscripts and to check the status of current submissions. Before submitting a NEW manuscript, please read the Author Guidelines (Directives aux auteurs) carefully.
