Leveraging data from the HPC survey to guide your human resources decisions




In this session, data from the  Human Resources chapter of the HPC will be presented and discussed.  Variability between regions will be analyzed and some examples of how this data can be used for various administrative and clinical decisions will be presented. 



By the end of this session, attendees will be able to: 
1. Identify the types of data available in the Human resources section of the Hospital Pharmacy in Canada Survey that can be used to support leadership decision making. 
2. Review differences in regional and national workforce availability and trends over the years.
3. Illustrate, using real-life case studies, how the Canadian Hospital Pharmacy Survey data can help plan your department’s professional workforce. 
4. How to “sell” your business plan to hospital administrators using comparative data.
