Cathy Lyder sets sights on retirement
After 11-plus years of employment with CSHP, Cathy Lyder (Director of Professional Practice), is preparing to retire from CSHP. On July 15, Cathy will begin working part time until her retirement in the early fall.
While Cathy looks forward to the gift of time that comes with retirement (time to be spent with her family, friends, dogs, piano, and gym shoes), she is sincere when she says that she will miss working with her CSHP-office colleagues and the countless CSHP volunteers (pharmacists and pharmacy technicians) she’s come to know over the years.
“To say that CSHP will miss Cathy is an understatement! Her practice, expertise, and passion for hospital pharmacy has advanced the profession and the Society during her tenure with us. While she’s promised to stay engaged as an active volunteer, we’ll certainly miss her leadership at the national office.” ~Jody Ciufo, CSHP CEO.
Recruitment for Cathy’s replacement is well underway. Please see the job advertisement for Chief Pharmacy Officer for more details.
