CPRB Event

WHO: Pharmacy Practitioners (the mentors)

Undergraduate Pharmacy Students and Residents (the future leaders of the profession)

Residents currently enrolled in a Canadian Pharmacy Residency (CPRB) program and undergraduate pharmacy students.

WHAT: The Canadian Residency Board (CPRB) and CSHP present the popular Student and Resident Networking Event, providing a unique networking opportunity and imparted wisdom on career development. Students and residents are introduced to leaders in the profession amid quick roundtable discussions led by volunteer practitioners (directors, coordinators, preceptors). Every 10 minutes, students and residents move on to a new table and start the Q&A session with a new volunteer mentor.

WHERE: During PPC 2020 at the Hilton Toronto (downtown) in the Toronto Ballroom on the lower level. (Registration for PPC is not required, but encouraged!)

WHEN: Saturday, February 1, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (CSHP National Awards Ceremony starts right after). Register before January 27 to conform your participation.

WHY: Pharmacy students and residents — our profession’s future leaders— derive significant benefit from the leadership, advice and support provided by leaders in the pharmacy profession. This event offers students and residents an opportunity to explore career development and engage in conversations with mentors. In addition, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served!

HOW: Students, residents and mentors: Complete the CPRB Student & Resident Networking Event Registration Form (available here) prior to January 27, 2020 (23:59 EST). Complimentary registration is required by mentors, students and residents.
