Program highlights: The residency is a self-directed program with guidance and support provided through experienced clinical pharmacists. The residents are actively involved in setting their learning goals and using problem-solving approaches to meet these goals. Our program offers opportunities for clinical practice and research experience with pediatric and adult patients across multiple academic hospital sites. Our residents will learn as members of interprofessional teams providing patient-centered and evidence informed care.

  • Medication Use Systems (4-6 weeks)
  • Drug Information (2 weeks)
  • Critical Appraisal/Health Research Methods Rotation (5 weeks)
  • Teaching Skills Rotation (Longitudinal over residency year)
  • Leadership Rotation (Longitudinal over residency year)

Minimum required credentials: B.Sc.Pharm or PharmD, registered as a pharmacy intern or pharmacist with Ontario College of Pharmacists.
