Awards Committee Members

CSHP Ontario Branch is currently recruiting members for our Awards Committee. Committee members should be actively practicing pharmacists in hospital or primary care practice or will have had experience in hospital or primary care practice. They may be currently employed in other practice settings such as industry, government, administration or education.  The Awards Committee shall:
•    Promote the interest and submissions for the awards offered by the OB Branch to its members.
•    Participate in the judging of the award submissions.
•    Participate in judging of BC Branch Literary Awards.
•    Identify new awards and sponsors to reflect the accomplishments of OB members.

Communications Committee Members

CSHP Ontario Branch is currently recruiting members for our Communications Committee. The committee’s role is to support the Communications Co-Chairs in their efforts to oversee all ON Branch-related communications with the membership. The Communications Committee ensures that appropriate information is disseminated in a timely, convenient, concise, appropriate, uniform and coordinated fashion so that it’s of maximal use to our members. The Committee should be composed of members who reflect different hospital practice settings and include student/resident representation. Members should be actively practicing pharmacists in hospital or primary care practice or had experience in hospital or primary care practice. Communications include the following:
•    HPO publications
•    General email schedule and content
•    Maintains social media presence and oversees posting to all OB social media pages
•    Monitor the OB website and ensure up to date content

Membership Committee Members 

CSHP Ontario Branch is currently recruiting members for our Membership Committee. The committee’s role is to support the Membership Co-Chairs in their efforts to recruit new members, retain current members, and stay connected with CSHP OB membership. The committee will help identify any ongoing issues, challenges or successes that should be addressed by Council. The Committee should be composed of members who reflect different hospital practice settings and include student/resident representation. Members should be actively practicing pharmacists in hospital or primary care practice or had experience in hospital or primary care practice.

Primary Care Chapter Members 

CSHP Ontario Branch would like to connect better with our Primary Care Community. CHSP OB is currently recruiting members to constitute a Primary Care Committee under the current Primary Care Liaisons on CSHP OB Council. The role of the committee will be to support the Primary Care Co-Chairs efforts to keep CSHP-OB Council aware of current issues, challenges and successes incurred by pharmacists practicing in primary care settings.  The Primary Care Chair will represent the voice of CSHP-OB members who practice in primary care settings.

Northern Chapter Chair

The Northern Chapter of CSHP Ontario Branch stretches from North Bay to Sault Ste Marie and north through Sudbury, Chapleau, Timmins, Kapuskasing. The Chapter Chair acts as the CSHP OB representative to their chapter membership for a two year term and they have the option to recruit a co-chair and/or committee from within their chapter to help distribute the workload. Chapter chairs are responsible for maintaining a connection with their membership and offering 2-3 CE events throughout the year.

Quinte - St. Lawrence Chapter Chair

The Chapter Chair acts as the CSHP OB representative to their chapter membership for a two year term and they have the option to recruit a co-chair and/or committee from within their chapter to help distribute the workload.
