The Antimicrobial Stewardship and Resistance Committee of the Association of Medical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (AMMI Canada) has authored the Business Case for Antimicrobial Stewardship Programs in Acute Care, Cancer Care, Rehabilitation, and Complex Continuing Care. AMMI Canada is the specialty association of medical microbiologists and infectious diseases physicians in Canada. The intent of this initiative is to help healthcare leaders acquire the necessary resources from healthcare administrators to launch or improve an antimicrobial stewardship program. The Business Case consists of two complementary files, a Microsoft Word document and a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, which can be accessed online by clicking here.

AMMI Canada considers these files “open source” and authorizes their customization as needed. So that these files can be improved for future users, please provide feedback on your experience with the Business Case to AMMI Canada via email to Natalee Rubec, Committee Coordinator, at
