In celebration of National Indigenous Peoples Day, join us for a special event addressing the health disparities faced by First Nations, Métis, and Inuit populations.

We will stream a pre-recorded session with Amy Lamb, co-founder and  Executive Director of the Indigenous Pharmacy Professionals of Canada (IPPC), discussing biases and racism in healthcare and how pharmacists can provide culturally safe, trauma-informed care. The session will also cover research opportunities and frameworks in hospital pharmacy practice related to Indigenous health.

The event will be hosted live by Sean Spina, CSHP Past President and IPPC Founding Board member. He will be joined by Kirsten Fox who is also a founding member of the IPPC Board.
