Leveraging data from the HPC survey to guide drug distribution decisions

This session will use scenarios and leadership questions to explore the data available in the Drug Distribution Chapter of the Hospital Pharmacy in Canada Survey. Through participation in this session, participants will have the opportunity to see how data in the drug distribution chapter of the survey can be used to answer some common drug distribution questions.

Learning Objectives:
By the end of this session, participant will be able to:
  • Identify the types of data available in the Drug Distribution section of the Hospital Pharmacy in Canada Survey that can be used to support leadership decision making.  
  • Utilize a suggested approach to apply the available survey data to address questions from their practice. 
  • Review drug distribution trends and changes noted in the survey in that may help inform their practice. 
  • Review differences in regional and national drug distribution practices to gain insight into best practices.
