When cancer therapy and cardiovascular health collide, timely recognition and management are critical.

This July, Margaret Sidsworth will lead a hybrid session at the University of British Columbia, exploring key cardio‑oncology challenges including cardiovascular risk, treatment‑related cardiotoxicity, and myocarditis.

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Identify cardiovascular risk in patients with cancer and apply prevention strategies

  • Recognize and manage fluoropyrimidine-associated cardiotoxicity

  • Optimize management of immune-checkpoint-inhibitor myocarditis
