CPRB News - August 2025

CPRB Accreditation Survey Visits

In Spring 2025, the Canadian Pharmacy Residency Board (CPRB) visited a total of eight residency programs for their accreditation survey:

• North York General Hospital (Year 1) (Toronto, ON) - new program, 
• Kingston Health Sciences Centre (Year 1) (Kingston, ON), 
• Alberta Health Services (Year 1) (Edmonton, Calgary and Red Deer, AB), 
• Alberta Health Services (Year 2) Infectious Disease and Antimicrobial Stewardship (Calgary, AB),
• Alberta Health Services (Year 2) Cardiology (Edmonton, AB),
• Trillium Health Partners (Year 1) (Mississauga, ON),
• St. Joseph’s Health Care, London (Year 1) (London, ON) - new program, and
• The Hospital for Sick Children (Year 1) (Toronto, ON).   

In Fall 2025, CPRB surveyors will be visiting one other residency program for accreditation surveys:

• London Health Sciences Centre (Year 1) (London, ON).

We would like to thank the directors and coordinators of these programs for all the work they and their teams have devoted to preparing for the survey visits. The Board appreciates your time, effort, and commitment to training pharmacy residents. We look forward to visiting you again! We would also like to thank all the surveyors for the precious time they dedicated to these visits.

Visites d'agrément du CCRP

Au printemps 2025, le Conseil canadien de la résidence en pharmacie (CCRP) a visité un total de huit programmes de résidence pour leur agrément:

• North York General Hospital (1re année) (Toronto, ON),
• Kingston Health Sciences Centre (1re année) (Kingston, ON),
• Alberta Health Services (1re année) (Edmonton, Calgary et Red Deer, AB), 
• Alberta Health Services – Maladies infectieuses et Antibiogouvernance (Pratique avancée, 2e année) (Calgary, AB), 
• Alberta Health Services – Cardiologie (Pratique avancée, 2e année) (Edmonton, AB),
• Trillium Health Partners (1re année) (Mississauga, ON),
• St. Joseph’s Health Care (1re année) (London, ON) - nouveau programme, et
• The Hospital for Sick Children (1re année) (Toronto, ON).

À l'automne 2025, les évaluateurs du CCRP visiteront un autre programme de résidence pour des visites d'agrément :

• London Health Sciences Centre (1re année) (London, ON).
